Power Inductors

Common-Mode & Differential-Mode Inductors

Vanguard Electronics’ Common-Mode and Differential-Mode Inductors are high-reliability components designed for aerospace and defence applications; they support ultra-wideband performance up to 1.75 GHz and a wide temperature range from -55 °C to +125 °C, and feature a ruggedised construction to meet MIL-PRF-27 requirements.

Toroidal & Dual Toroidal Power Inductors

Single-core toroidal power inductors and dual-toroidal inductors, which combine two toroidal cores within a single housing, offer superior electrical characteristics and space-saving benefits for applications requiring high power density. They are available with THT and SMD mounting options.

High-Current Inductors — Chip & Power Series

High-Current Inductors, available in Chip (SMT) and Power (SMT & THT) package options, have been developed for designs in DC-DC converters and power supply applications that require high current-carrying capacity and low DCR values.

Planar Inductors

Designed for low-profile, high-frequency power conversion applications, Planar Inductors offer repeatable performance, a low profile and a compact board-mount height in environments subject to shock and vibration.

Shielded Power Inductors

Thanks to their magnetically shielded housing, Shielded Power Inductors minimise electromagnetic interference with neighbouring circuits; they can be safely positioned on densely populated circuit boards and ensure low EMI emissions.

RF & High-Frequency Inductors

RF Bead

RF Beads, which offer impedance values of up to 2000 ohms, are available in 11 different body sizes; they provide EMI suppression solutions in accordance with QPL – DSCC 03024 and MIL-STD-981 (Space) standards, with COTS+ options.

Air-Core Inductors

Air-core inductors, which do not use ferrite cores, provide stable inductance without saturation issues in RF/microwave circuits that require low loss and a high Q-factor at high frequencies.

RF Toroidal Inductors

RF toroidal inductors, which minimise magnetic field leakage thanks to their toroidal winding structure, are used in designs requiring a stable inductance value and low EMI emissions in high-frequency circuits.

Fixed & Variable Chip Inductors

Available in a surface-mount chip format, this product family combines Fixed Chip Inductors, which have a fixed inductance value, with Adjustable Chip Inductors for applications requiring fine-tuning on the circuit board.

Transformers

Current Sense Transformers

Current sense transformers, used for measuring current in power lines, provide high accuracy and galvanic isolation, ensuring reliable current measurement in protection, monitoring and feedback circuits.

Flyback Transformatörleri

Flyback transformers, used in isolated DC-DC converter topologies, provide efficient power transfer alongside input-output isolation in compact power supply designs.

Isolation Transformers

Flyback transformers, used in isolated DC-DC converter topologies, provide efficient power transfer alongside input-output isolation in compact power supply designs.

Gate Driver Transformers

Gate drive transformers that transmit MOSFET/IGBT gate drive signals in switched-mode power circuits

Data Bus Transformers

Designed to comply with military bus standards such as MIL-STD-1553, Data Bus Transformers provide the isolation and signal integrity required for reliable data communication in avionics and defence systems.

Pulse Transformatörleri

MIL-PRF-21038 pulse transformers, which are used for general-purpose signal and trigger transmission, are offered as part of a common pulse transformer design family

Wideband RF Transformers

Designed for aerospace and defence applications, Wideband RF Transformers offer ultra-wideband performance up to 1.75 GHz and a wide operating temperature range from –55°C to +125°C. These compact transformers ensure efficient signal transmission in critical systems such as satellite communications, GPS positioning and balanced receiver circuits. They are manufactured in accordance with MIL-PRF-27 specifications and are available in both standard and custom configurations.
